Maik Metzen
Founder & Managing Director
Maik Metzen is a successful entrepreneur and a highly sought-after performance marketing expert for over 15 years. Following his roles at Hitflip/Hitmeister (now Kaufland) and Spreadshirt in Boston, he founded the search and content agency AKM3 in 2009, which he and his co-founders grew into one of Germany’s largest search agencies with over 180 employees. After the acquisition by Publicis, he then guided the integration and development of the agency within the international Publicis network as Managing Director.
During this time, Maik oversaw more than 500 client projects. In 2019, he co-founded the voice agency Beyto with Claudius Herz, which has already become an established player in the audio and voice industry. He is also co-founder of the online cigar shop Noblego and co-author of the book SEO – Strategy, Tactics & Techniques. Maik has spoken at over 75 conferences across Europe and published numerous expert articles on search engine optimization, performance marketing, and the potential of voice-controlled processes.
